Judy Wayman

Judy Lynn Wayman Robinson, age 77 of Knoxville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at home with her beloved family. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, to the late Clyde Walker and Verna Blanche Wayman.
She attended East Tennessee State University before transferring to the University of Tennessee, Memphis where she earned her Bachelor’s in Medical Technology. While raising her children, Judy went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She married her best friend, Sam Robinson in 1990. Her career included teaching high school chemistry, working in medical technology, and was a chemist at Y12 in Oak Ridge. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Bearden.
Judy was adventurous and talented. She enjoyed hiking, snow skiing, cycling, swimming, and even received her pilot’s license at 50 years old. She was an amazing artist, baker, and gardener as well. She was a humanitarian at heart, a lover of animals, and a dedicated caregiver to her parents. She was most passionate about her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.
