Terri Bazacos Awarded 99 of Note for 2025

The annual Ninety-Nines of Note Award honors Southeast Section members who truly embody our mission through exceptional service and contributions to their Chapter. Each Chapter nominates members, and a dedicated committee selects the award recipients.

This award shines a spotlight on the unsung heroes of the Southeast Section. Each nominee represents a passionate, hard-working woman who has given her time and energy to uplift her Chapters and strengthen our community. They are the heartbeat of the Ninety-Nines, and this recognition is our heartfelt way of saying thank you.

A message from Terri:

I am truly honored to receive the 2025 Southeast Section GOLD Ninety-Nine of Note Award. My journey into aviation was somewhat unconventional, as it became a focus later in life.

I am currently serving my second term as Southeast Section Vice-Governor and am Chair of the Scholarship, Ways and Means, and Hosting committees. I co-authored the Corbi Bulluck New Beginnings Scholarship and created a joint chapter-section scholarship fundraiser called the 5K Run/Walk.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Spring Section Meeting in Sarasota.

The Ninety-Nines of Note Award is more than an honor, it is a tribute to the incredible women of the Southeast Section who were nominated for their outstanding contributions to their Chapter and the aviation community.
