Katelyn Awarded the Minnie Wade Memorial Scholarship

We are thrilled to share that Katelyn, the Alabama Chapter’s very own Chapter Secretary, has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Minnie Wade Memorial Scholarship! The announcement was made at the February 2026 meeting, and it was such a special moment to celebrate together.

Katelyn has been working hard on her instrument training, and this scholarship will help carry her across the finish line as she completes her rating.

We are so proud of her and grateful to see the Minnie Wade Scholarship continuing to support women in aviation within our own Chapter. Congratulations, Katelyn! We can’t wait to celebrate with you again when that instrument rating is in hand. ✈️
