Ellen Spindler Memorial Flight Training Scholarship Winner
Katalin Walkins has won the FL Heartland 99 Ellen Spindler Memorial Flight Training Scholarship. She is a member of the Treasure Coast Chapter 99s and a certified glider pilot pursuing her SEL Private Pilot rating. On March 1, she was celebrated at the chapter meeting by members of the FL Heartland chapter, her mother, Aileen Watkins, and her mentor, Ruth Jacobs, also of the Treasure Coast Chapter.
