Florida Suncoast 99s Chapter Scholarship Winner

The Florida Suncoast Chapter of the Ninety-Nines is pleased to announce Amanda Barker, their 2023 chapter scholarship winner. Amanda joined our chapter in 2022 as a student pilot and immediately went to work as Vice Chair. Currently, she is the Chapter Chair. Amanda earned her private pilot certificate in September of 2023 and immediately started on her instrument rating. On October 7, 2023, Amanda was awarded the chapter scholarship of $2,500 for use in completing her instrument rating and/or commencing her commercial rating. She completed her instrument rating in November. As of this writing, Amanda is working on her commercial rating. However, as the reader can tell, she’s difficult to keep up with and may have finished her commercial rating by the time this is published. Way to go, Amanda. Keep up the good work! You make us proud!!
