2023 SE Section Elections
Have you ever thought about working on the SE Section Board? We are always looking for fresh ideas from our members. An easy place to start would be as a Director or as the Secretary. Of course, if you have some expertise in leadership, run for Vice Governor, or expertise in finances, run for Treasurer. You are not required to have served on a Chapter Board before serving on the SE Section Board unless you are running for Governor. To run for Governor, you must have served one term on the SE Section Board. The only other requirement is that you are an active member of the SE Section of the 99s. For more information on nominations and elections along with the duties of the Section Officers please see Articles VI, VII, and VIII in the SE Section Bylaws and the Officers and Nominating Committee SOPs on our document page. Feel free to reach out to any of the current board members or the Nomination Committee members if you have questions about running for the board.
The positions that need to be filled are:
- SE Section Governor
- SE Section Vice Governor
- SE Section Secretary
- SE Section Treasurer
- SE Section Director (2 positions)
- SE Section Nominating Committee (3 positions)
The deadline to get your nomination form to the Nominating Committee is November 20th. You can see the Election Calendar below. Please view the Nomination Instructions and the Nomination Form for more information on the submission of your nomination.
Election Calendar
- November 20: Submit Nomination Form to Nomination Committee
- March 1: Receive the official list from HQ of electronic/paper members
- March 4: SE Section Elections start date
- April 1: SE Section Elections end date
- April 29: 2023-2025 SE Section Board installed
